Pay for Certainty: Why a 40 kW Perkins Generator Shouldn't Be a Price Decision

Here is an opinion that still gets me odd looks at industry events: If you are buying a generator because you need power on a specific date, stop negotiating with the cheapest vendor. I would rather pay 15% more for a machine that arrives on the morning I'm promised than save 20% on one that 'should be there sometime next week.'
